A better future?Job DescriptionResponsible for all purchasing pre and post launch activity focusing on the program team, supplier, and customer requirements integrating data/quote management, contract negotiations, tool timing, CR/CN process flow, profile management, complete launch readiness, etc.ResponsibilitiesDirect commodity buying responsibility as well as directly providing leadership within the groupExtensive work experience and judgment required to plan and accomplish strategic goalsNegotiates long term agreements and yearly savings in line with expectationsDevelops commodity strategies to achieve resultsUnderstanding of commercial terms and total cost management concepts requiredExperience RequirementsExtensive work experience, discipline, and independence to drive successful closure of Purchasing goalsStrong negotiating principles and skillsMinimum of 5 years of commodity or relevant purchasing experienceBachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or equivalent experienceAbility to align with and influence internal program teams, suppliers, and customersEnsures accurate data management to meet program timelinesFamiliarity with commercial terms and performance-to-target conceptsResults-driven and proactive approach from program inception through launchCommunication verbal and written and organizational skills.
