Providing pre-award support to faculty and postdoctoral fellows, the full-time remote Senior Proposal Development Specialist will manage proposal development, including budget preparation and submission for federal and non-federal funding opportunities, while also overseeing proposal specialists within their cluster. Key responsibilities Facilitate the development and submission of research proposals for grants and collaborative opportunities Lead training and oversight for proposal specialists in the assigned cluster Ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional regulations throughout the proposal process Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in academic research administration Expertise in electronic grants submissions through Grants.gov and similar portals Knowledge of various sponsored research funding mechanisms, including federal and non-federal agencies Proficiency with financial systems and budgeting, particularly in Excel Familiarity with federal funding guidelines (2 CFR 200, FAR, etc.)
