Salary: Up to $110,000 base + bonus
The Opportunity
An established and growing specialty insurance carrier is looking for a Senior Property Underwriter to join its team. Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of commercial property risks, including new business and renewals.
- Assess risk exposures, determine pricing and negotiate policy terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to develop new business opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure disciplined underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth and profitability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Property Underwriting experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property risks, pricing and risk assessment.
- Experience managing broker relationships and developing new business.
- Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
