Senior Property and Casualty Underwriter

Supporting key business strategies, the full-time Senior Property and Casualty Underwriter will analyze commercial lines accounts, price business according to underwriting guidelines, and mentor less experienced underwriters while working in a hybrid environment based in Dallas, TX. Key responsibilities Analyze commercial lines accounts to make sound underwriting decisions based on risk characteristics and exposure analysis Communicate with agency personnel regarding underwriting issues and present new and renewal proposals Collaborate with business development representatives to achieve production goals and maintain positive agency relationships Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 5+ years of commercial insurance experience required Advanced knowledge of insurance principles and commercial lines underwriting Strong sales and marketing skills with the ability to qualify opportunities Ability to work in a team environment and mentor less experienced underwriters
