Senior Project Specialist – Utility Design

Senior Project SpecialistENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Project Specialist to provide advanced technical leadership across Electrical Make Ready (EMR), Joint Use Attachments (JUA), and Fiber projects supporting CPS Energy and College Station. This role serves as a senior technical authority—owning design quality, mentoring team members, and supporting complex utility requirements.In this role, you'll lead:Technical Leadership & DeliveryServe as a senior technical resource for EMR, JUA, and Fiber design workProvide expert guidance on joint use attachments, electrical make ready design, and utility standardsReview and approve technical work for quality, accuracy, and complianceResolve complex technical challenges and escalationsSupport project teams across the full project lifecycleTeam Support & CoordinationProvide day-to-day technical guidance to designers, technicians, and specialistsMentor team members (10-15 total) and help build technical depthCoordinate work across EMR, JUA, and Fiber teamsPartner with project managers and leadership on workload and prioritiesClient & Stakeholder CollaborationAct as a technical point of contact for CPS Energy and College StationEnsure deliverables meet client expectations and standardsSupport scope, standards, and execution discussionsRequired QualificationsDirect experience working with CPS Energy projects and standardsJoint Use Attachment (JUA) experienceElectrical utility experience (EMR / electric distribution)Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skillsAbility to review and guide complex technical deliverablesLocated in/around San Antonio areaPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting multiple utility clientsCombined EMR, JUA, and Fiber project experienceMentoring or coaching experienceFamiliarity with CPS and College Station standardsAt ENTRUST Solutions Group, we are a community of over 3,000 dedicated professionals committed to our clients and each other.
