Senior Project Manager, WaterGFT is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Water to join our Stormwater Team in Richmond, VA! Explore some of our signature water resources and environmental projects here.What you'll be challenged to do:In this role, you will work closely with our technical experts, project teams, and client service managers to advance our technical services and support business development on a wide variety of stormwater projects in Virginia.This position is responsible for providing all aspects of engineering for stormwater projects for public and municipal utility district clients. In addition to leading a team of engineers and technical professionals, this position will also be actively involved in professional associations and community organizations as GFT continues building.In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Prepare proposals, budgets, and client agreementsLead and oversee design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects including detailed engineering design and calculations, report writing, permitting, and presentations to clientsWrite responses to client RFQs and SolicitationsDevelop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leadersCoordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedulesParticipate in the development of company design and production standardsDirect and manage the implementation of a project including coordination with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and other external and internal parties to achieve project milestonesOversee and manage construction phases of projects to ensure works are completed in accordance with the contract documents, on time and budgetParticipate in professional associations and civic organizations within the communitySupport client marketing and business development activities required to procure project assignments, including development of scope, schedule and budget for proposals.Mentor staff and lead development of other PMsWhat you will bring to our firm:Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Virginia.15 or more years' experience managing substantial stormwater projects from conception to completion.Demonstrated strong project management skills.Successful record of delivering projects on schedule, budget and meeting the client's Ability to provide oversight and guidance of project management fundamentals.What we prefer you bring:Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation.Knowledge of local codes, development processes, and utility regulationsDemonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver on time and within budgetProven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leadersProven ability to lead a team of engineers and technical professionalsActively involved in professional associations and civic organizationsCompensation:The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000.
