Senior Project ManagerWe are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in earthwork and shoring projects to lead complex, high-profile work from preconstruction through completion. This role will provide strategic oversight, mentor junior staff, and ensure successful delivery of projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and financial performance.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage large-scale earthwork and shoring projects, including mass excavation, grading, and support of excavation systemsOversee multiple projects and project teams simultaneously, providing leadership and direction to Project Managers, Engineers, and field staffDevelop and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and cost controlsDrive preconstruction efforts including estimating support, value engineering, and risk analysisCoordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and regulatory agenciesOversee contract negotiations, change order management, and procurement strategiesEnsure compliance with all safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control proceduresProvide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and support their professional developmentMaintain and strengthen client relationships, contributing to repeat business and new opportunitiesQualifications:8–12+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on earthwork and shoringProven experience managing complex excavation and shoring systems (e.g., sheet piling, soldier piles and lagging, tiebacks, secant/ slurry walls)Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, site development, and urban construction challengesDemonstrated success managing large budgets and multiple concurrent projectsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret civil, structural, and geotechnical drawings and specificationsProficiency with project management tools (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with deep excavation and urban shoring in tight or highly regulated environmentsBackground working for a specialty contractor or large heavy civil firmBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldOSHA certification or advanced safety training
