Senior Project Manager, TransportationAn opportunity exists in Stantec's Clearwater, Florida office for a highly motivated Senior Project Manager, Transportation. In this leadership role you will build and maintain strong client relationships, provide supervision and guidance to a group of employees and oversee project management.Your key responsibilities include:Building and maintaining strong client relationshipsDeveloping value-added solutions to clients' needsLeading the successful pursuit of contracts for engineering and consulting servicesPerforming strategic planning and plan execution for both operations and business developmentPlanning, organizing, and supervising the work of other transportation professionalsEffectively negotiating, planning, monitoring and delivering quality projects and consulting servicesReviewing engineered designs and plans for conformance with applicable state, regional & local agency standardsYour capabilities and credentials include:Experience designing roadway design projectsFlorida Department of Transportation (FDOT) design experience is preferredComprehensive understanding of all phases of project document productionAbility to effectively discuss project issues with clients and reviewing agenciesPossesses excellent time-management skillsThorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictionsProficient in Microsoft (MS) Office SuiteProficient in relevant design software, Microstation and OpenRoads/GeopakExperience in Temporary Traffic Control (MOT) analysis and plan developmentExperience in roadway pavement design analysis and developmentBachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain within 6 months)Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive engineering and project management experiencePosition will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
