Job Details
We are seeking a proven electrical construction leader with experience managing large, complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will come directly from an electrical contracting background and have a demonstrated track record overseeing electrical scopes exceeding $25M.
This individual will provide leadership across multiple projects while driving financial performance, operational excellence, client satisfaction, and team development.
Responsibilities
* Lead multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from turnover through completion
* Manage project budgets, forecasting, billing, cash flow, and overall financial performance
* Review contracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
* Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies
* Partner closely with field leadership to ensure successful project delivery
* Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, challenges, and schedule impacts
* Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
* Conduct project reviews and provide leadership to project teams
* Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and industry regulations
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and project outcomes
* Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other operations personnel
Qualifications
* 8+ years of project management experience within the electrical contracting industry
* Experience managing electrical contract values of $25M+ required
* Experience overseeing projects with total construction values up to $100M+ preferred
* Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, means, and industry best practices
* Proven success managing project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and profitability
* Experience reviewing contracts, procurement documents, and change management processes
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
* PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
* Proficiency with construction management and project controls software
