Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution ConstructionFindTalent is actively seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution Construction to oversee the planning, execution, and financial management of major electrical infrastructure projects across the Midwest. This position is ideal for a senior-level professional with deep expertise in utility construction, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing T&D projects from pre-construction through completion.The role is based in Wisconsin and includes regional travel to project locations. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, controlling budgets and schedules, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of complex electrical transmission and distribution projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle of transmission and distribution (T&D) construction projects, including scoping, budgeting, planning, and closeoutDevelop and manage detailed construction schedules, coordinate activities across field teams and subcontractorsAct as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and vendors throughout project executionGenerate Requests for Information (RFIs), maintain project documentation, and oversee regular status updates and reportingMonitor job costs, track progress against budgets, and identify variances and opportunities for cost-savingParticipate in bid reviews, field walkdowns, and constructability assessments to support accurate project estimatingCollaborate closely with estimating and procurement teams to prepare complete labor and material takeoffsEnsure change orders are well-documented and submitted in a timely mannerSupport safety compliance and ensure adherence to all industry standards and regulationsPrepare weekly and monthly progress reports, billing schedules, and look-ahead forecastsFacilitate team meetings, drive accountability, and maintain high standards of communication and coordinationAssist with project closeout, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer to improve future performanceEducation, Skills & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)10+ years of progressive experience managing electrical utility construction projects, specifically in T&DExpertise in reviewing engineering drawings and technical specifications related to civil, structural, and electrical systemsStrong proficiency in project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or PrimaveraExperience with estimating software (e.g., Accubid or similar) and cost control systemsSolid understanding of NEC and other relevant electrical codes and safety regulationsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead field teams and liaise with internal and external stakeholdersComfortable with on-site field work and regional travel to project locations as neededPreferred Qualifications:PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentialPrior experience with union labor and utility clientsKnowledge of renewable energy infrastructure and grid modernization projectsFamiliarity with utility standards and procedures in the Midwest U.S.Benefits & Compensation: FindTalent's client offers a comprehensive benefits package including:Competitive Base Salary (Dependent on Experience)Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Employer Match and Profit Sharing PotentialPaid Time Off and Company HolidaysHealth & Wellness Reimbursement ProgramsEducational Assistance and Professional Development OpportunitiesLife, AD&D, and Disability InsuranceTravel Per Diem and Expense Reimbursement for Field AssignmentsEqual Opportunity Employer: FindTalent is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
