A family-founded Long Island construction management and development firm (nearly five decades building across the Tri-State area, and one of the names that helped put construction management on the map here) is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, high-impact projects from the ground up.

This is a senior leadership seat inside a business that has grown into a full-service platform: construction management, general contracting, and real estate development, concept through completion. You’ll run complex, high-value builds for a company that still runs on relationships, straight talk, and consistent delivery.

🔨 What you’ll do

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning delivery across every phase
• Manage schedules, budgets, and resource planning
• Keep a strong on-site presence across Long Island and NYC projects
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Prepare scopes of work and manage subcontractor procurement
• Negotiate contracts and drive strong commercial outcomes
• Lead and mentor project teams, building collaboration and accountability
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance across every site
• Track project performance and deliver clear, detailed reporting
• Oversee requisitions, cost tracking, and financial management

🎓 What you bring

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in construction
• A track record delivering in the Long Island and/or NYC markets
• Background across ground-up and complex commercial or multifamily projects (preferred)
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Autodesk Build a plus
• PMP certification (preferred)
• OSHA certification (required)
