Remote Contract General

Sr Project Manager / Scrum Master CTBMPreference is for local employees, will consider remote but start search local.We have an immediate need for two IT Sr Project Managers with a focus on Marketing and Data Analytics related domains. The IS Sr Project Manager works under minimal supervision to plan, direct and coordinate activities of large, long-term, inter-departmental infrastructure or development project(s) to ensure goals and objectives of the project(s) are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and budgetary parameters.This is preferably a hybrid position to facilitate with the team and colleagues in-person at our headquarters in Freeport, Maine. Candidates must have recent, real-world agile project management experience.

The initial contract is 6 months with the possibility of an extension based on performance.Responsibilities:Communication and Presentation Keeps stakeholders, including management, informed of progress to goal; negotiate adjustments to the schedule and resources to ensure overall quality of completed projectFunctions as central point for all project communicationsLeverages most effective means of communication based on situation/urgencyDevelops and delivers presentation content to drive understanding and alignment across Team and Project Sponsors (Governance structure)Establishes Effective Project Governance Identifies and facilitates acquiring a Sponsor role that is executed at the appropriate level of the organizationIdentifies and facilitates acquiring a Steering Group that is the Sponsor while representing cross-functional perspective with common project goalsIdentifies and facilitates acquiring a Stakeholder Group that represents and can influence project direction and deliverablesVendor Management Collaborates to develop a positive relationship between L.L.Bean and vendor(s) to ensure successful project deliverables.May support Contract Negotiations and Non-Disclosure Agreements with vendors and monitors project deliverables. Transitions vendor contracts to internal support owner to ensure understanding and compliance with service level agreements.Tracks and maintains vendor deliverable costsRisk Management Identifies & analyzes project risks to determine highest potential risk exposure that should be proactively managedIdentifies & focuses resolution of issues and risks using appropriate levels of escalation considering impact to scope, schedule, budget or quality.Project Detail and Schedules Develops a project work breakdown structureDevelops and manages a project schedule/timeline using approved Project Management tools (WorkOtter, Jira, SharePoint, etc.)Develops, monitors, and manages the project staffing plan and resource allocations approved by resource managersDetermines Resource Assignments with task estimates (ETC's)Use negotiation skills to balance completing work with resources needed to achieve project successSkills & Qualifications:·Strong hands-on project management & Scrum Master skills - at least 5 years of experience managing complex IT efforts.·Management of large teams with members working in multiple locations.·Experience structuring work into various workstreams within a large project and managing multiple IT projects concurrently.·Strong applied use of PM & Scrum tools/techniques (planning, risk management, budgeting, cost control, assessment, software/SaaS acquisition/RFP, develop & management of Jira board, Scrum ceremonies, etc.).·Experience with vendor contracts and vendor management.·Excellent communication skills (oral and written), English-language skills, facilitation skills, etc. and ability to represent work at all levels of the organization (up to Executive levels).·Excellent people skills – developing strong relationships, building a trusting team environment, and ability to listen & translate into actionable plans.Experience with the following is desired, but not mandatory:·Cloud Data Platforms in support of Marketing, Customer Analytics & Personalization in an omni-channel retail environment.·WorkOtter, Jira, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.·Understand business process transformation and change management practices.While working remotely.

Your candidates should have reliable high-speed internet and L.L.Bean will provide a VDI. The L.L.Bean Developer Virtual Desktop Infrastructure allows for entitled users to access a virtual computer asset to complete tasks and processes relative to their role and responsibilities. Your employee needs to have a laptop/desktop to log into their assigned L.L.Bean VDI.

Your employee will install a VMware Horizon 7 compatible Client for Windows on their personal PC or one you provide once they are onboarded. This PC must have a currently supported operating system, which is regularly patched, and has updated commercial anti-malware software.
