Senior Project ManagerThe Senior Project Manager will define, scope, initiate and manage customer facing projects with medium to high complexity and scope. It will be expected that the Senior Project Manager be the lead interface to the client during the implementation life cycle. It is expected that the Senior Project Manager have a strong Project Management foundation and adhere to core PM standardizations.Key Responsibilities:Lead project teams in migrating/onboarding clients to one of our next generation data platforms within Americas.
Follow best practices for onboarding while providing process improvements to client and to internal processesResponsible for producing all typical project documentation - detailed project plans, work plans, schedules, project estimates, conversion schedules, resource plans, and status reports. Ensure all handover documents are correctly updated and provided to clientDefines project scope and objectives with stakeholder input. Responsible to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are aligned to customer expectations and requirementsManages the scope & change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project stakeholders and ensure full impact of significant changes are understood by project stakeholdersBeing able to manage remote client project implementations as well as having the flexibility to manage remote virtual matrixed project team membersCore Competencies/Skills:Strong Project Management Principles and Foundation with a proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple complexity of projects across multiple project solution typesDiligent and thorough project management skills with an ability to track and report accuratelyProven track-record of Customer Project Delivery and Implementation with a high degree of customer satisfactionStrong interpersonal skills and Team PlayerStrong Communicator both Verbally and WrittenOutstanding collaboration and relationship management skills for working with various internal and customer stakeholder groups across various time zonesProactive Risk Mitigation and Issues Management - demonstrating problem solving and decision makingExperienced in using Microsoft Office for presentations, documentation, and project planningFlexibility to travel to client locations in other geographies/citiesAbility to see the bigger pictureEducation / Certifications:10+ years demonstrating project management excellence and customer focused implementationsExperience working in the Financial Markets as well as a strong knowledge of the financial markets asset classesTechnical background preferred but not requiredCAPM / PMP certification preferredLSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and benefits.
