JCW is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager who wants ownership of capital equipment and technical projects from day one - not just executing someone else's plan, but shaping scope, budget, and approach for a pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Greater Allentown, PA area.
This is an engineering project leadership role (not an IT Project Manager) in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, working across equipment, facility, and process improvement projects with real visibility to plant leadership.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical strongly preferred)
- PMP or PMI certification heavily preferred
- 7+ years of engineering and project management experience in API pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, petrochemical, or other regulated process manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience leading capital projects through the full lifecycle within GMP-regulated facilities handling hazardous or regulated materials
- Hands-on experience with rotating and static process equipment (pumps, compressors, agitators, reactors, vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, piping systems) is a huge plus
