Senior Project ManagerKoniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide Cemetery Enterprise Application Support (CEAS) across the evolving Cemetery Management suite of cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, IT systems supporting federal operations, AWS cloud migration, and Department of Defense compliance requirements.Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:Lead program management support across the evolving Cemetery Management suite of cloud applicationsManage and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) projects and initiatives for cemetery operations IT systemsChair and facilitate the Change Control Board (CCB) and Enterprise Architecture Governance Board (EAGB)Align IT investments with strategic goals and objectives as outlinedDevelop and implement project plans containing tasks and milestones to allow for efficient planning and budgeting for IT solutionsCoordinate inter-agency activities with external cemetery stakeholdersManage AWS cloud migration activities within the cArmy environment, specifically coordinating with the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA)Oversee development and maintenance of Department of War (DoW) Authority to Operate (ATO) authorization packagesProvide program-level planning, operations and maintenance, and migration support for cemetery business systemsEnsure strict adherence to specifications given the special significance and attention that national and post cemeteries receiveSupport the implementation and sustainment of business processesEnsure compliance with DoW regulations and requirementsOversee and establish business processes in alignment with DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)Develop, implement, and maintain operational plans for cemetery management systemsProvide strategic planning support to OCIO leadershipPrepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and presentations to government leadershipLead change management and governance initiativesEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited college or university; or 10 years of experience in the related fieldMinimum of 10 years of progressive project management experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience with IT systems in a federal government environmentDirect experience with AWS cloud migration projectsDemonstrated experience coordinating with cArmy Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA)Proven experience with Department of War (DoW) Authority to Operate (ATO) process and authorization packagesExperience managing IT systems that support critical operational processes and data managementKnowledge of DoD and Army IT policies, directives, and standardsDoD Approved 8140/8570 baseline certification (Security+, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent) – must obtain within six (6) months from date of award if not currently certifiedClearance Requirement:Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearanceOther responsibilities :Perform other duties as assigned by leadership teamOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
