Work Flexibility: Field-based Senior Project Manager – OR Renovation for Stryker Communications

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee operating room renovations and new build projects from planning through completion, partnering with customers, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. This role is ideal for a construction-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages multiple projects simultaneously, and has experience managing contractors, construction scopes, and renovation projects from demolition through final installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead OR renovation and new construction projects from quote through customer sign-off.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships.
• Oversee demolition, site preparation, construction activities, and installation readiness.
• Coordinate contractors, architects, facility leaders, and healthcare stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive project planning, risk mitigation, vendor management, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience managing construction projects, renovations, remodels, or capital projects.
• Proven success overseeing contractors, construction scopes, demolition/tear-down activities, and project execution.
• Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Special Trainings:

• B.B.A or B.S in business or related curriculum

Qualifications & Experience:

• Preferred construction project management experience
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• 6+ of related experience required

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Must be able to resolve complex issues of a broad scope using independent judgment.
• Must be able to routinely make decisions which affect immediate operations and may have a division-wide effect.
• Must be able to communicate with others in large groups and virtually.
• Must be able to drive an automobile.
• Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
