They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage projects and project staff from inception to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise all electrical aspects of the projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and the quality standards of E-J. As a Senior Project Manager at E-J, you will collaborate with various teams, communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and play a crucial role in delivering successful electrical projects for our esteemed clients.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Evaluate project team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and trainingDefine roles and responsibilities for and manage required project staff including assistant project managers, field engineers, project engineers, and administrative assistants.Ensure accurate project documentation is being maintained by project staff, such as shop drawings, progress reports, submittal/RFI/correspondence logs, monthly billing, and project closeout documents.Attend and run project meetings, collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectivesAddress any project-related issues, conflicts, or delays promptly and effectively, seeking solutions that maintain project progressCreate and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completionCreate and maintain accurate project financial reports including projectionsMaintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, submittals, RFIs, correspondence logs, monthly billing, manpower forecasts and project closeout documents, etc.Identify, estimate, prepare, and negotiate change ordersDevelop comprehensive project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures when possibleLiaise with field supervisionQualifications:Minimum of 10 years of project manager experience required, including experience managing projects over $30MProficiency in Microsoft Suite in addition to project management software; E-J currently uses Procore, Emque, Riskcast, Toric, and moreSkilled in multiple platforms, with the ability to learn, use, and teach others; tech-forwardBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the electrical contracting/engineering spaceStrong organizational & multi-tasking skills with attention to detailPractical knowledge of constructionStrong business acumen in project planning and managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPractical knowledge of construction processesRequirements:Experience in Microsoft ProjectAdvantages of Working at E-J:Leading Electrical Contracting Organization in New York CityOldest family-owned and operated electrical contractor since 1899JIB IBEW Local 3 benefitsJob training and mentorshipRewarding project experienceMedical, dental, vision, and a 401K planPaid holidays and vacationTuition Reimbursement ProgramTeam-oriented company cultureHistory of employment longevityConvenient and central office locations near public transitSalary Range: $150k-$175k/year The E-J Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and ensures equal employment opportunity for all persons without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
