Senior Project Manager (Medical Communications) Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Medical Education and Medical Communications initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment of timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities related to pharmaceutical product launches, including planning, content approval, and execution.
  • Collaborate with Scientific, Medical, Editorial, and Account teams to streamline medical content workflows.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans for advisory boards, speaker programs, symposia, congress activities, and educational campaigns.
  • Track project dependencies, resource needs, and critical milestones across multiple projects, providing schedule flexibility during high-demand periods.

Senior Project Manager (Medical Communications) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of project management experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical communications agencies.
  • 3-4+ years of direct experience supporting Medical Education or Medical Communications teams.
  • Proven track record in supporting pharmaceutical or biotech product launches.
  • Strong knowledge of medical content development and collaboration with scientific and creative teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends during critical periods.
