RICK is the place for you!As a Senior Project Manager, you will join the management team of RICK to expand and guide the company's land development operations throughout the Phoenix area and greater Arizona. This position oversees a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects while leading and mentoring engineering teams.

The Senior Project Manager also fosters valuable partnerships to drive business development efforts with private developers, landowners, and higher-education institutions. RICK is committed to career growth opportunities, including the unique opportunity for potential advancement to ownership.ResponsibilitiesServe as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, including providing expert guidance on the design process, delivering regular progress updates, and ensuring alignment of project scope, schedule, and budgetOversee and direct all phases of complex land development projects from site evaluation and due diligence through scoping, proposals, design plans and reports, permitting, and final approvalsManage quality assurance and quality control effectivelyLead project teams by establishing clear expectations, ensuring technical excellence, and promoting a collaborative environment focused on efficiency, quality, and innovationProvide mentoring, training, and professional development initiatives to strengthen staff capabilities and support career progression within the teamDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and public agenciesWork with Principals within RICK and provide strategic input on business development opportunities; support firm growth through client retention and new project pursuitsGeneral RequirementsBachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited collegeRegistered Arizona Professional Engineer (P.E.) license10+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects with an emphasis on single-family development projectsProven experience leading project teams, managing clients, and overseeing permitting processesStrong leadership skills with the ability to make independent decisions and guide project teams toward successful outcomesExperience mentoring, directing, and reviewing the work of technical staff and junior project managersExtensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and public agenciesBusiness development and marketing experience, including proposal writing, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected workTechnical Experience RequirementsAdvanced technical expertise in land development design including entitlements, site grading and drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and best design practices.Ability to perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studiesExperience with preparation and processing of regulatory plansKnowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in the Arizona region (strongly preferred)Ability to perform constructability reviews and experience with a range of construction support servicesStrong technical skills with AutoCAD-Civil 3DCompany OfferingsGenerous benefits package with annual bonus potentialMedical, dental, vision, profit-sharing, 401K, personal leave, and life and disability insuranceCompany culture experiences, including events, team-building activities, parties, and moreInnovative technology and company-wide resources Base pay: $135,000-$150,000 with annual bonus potentialFind an abundance of opportunities for mentorship, growth, and fun at RICK!
