Senior Project Manager (Indianapolis)

A commercial general contractor is growing its Indianapolis presence and needs a Senior Project Manager who can win work as well as deliver it. Renewyx is running the search.

You’ll spend your time with clients and with the project team. That means getting in front of architects, owner’s reps and developers and earning the next project, while guiding the PM, Assistant PM, Project Engineer and Superintendent day to day. Where a job needs extra support, you’ll get involved on site. Budgeting and forecasting are handled by senior leadership, so the focus stays on relationships and delivery.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴:

• Developing relationships and pursuing new projects across the Indianapolis market
• Leading proposals, presentations and project interviews
• Mentoring the office’s project management and field team
• Supporting active projects on safety, quality and delivery

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿:

• Experience as a Project Manager who has moved into preconstruction or client-facing work
• Commercial projects behind you, such as galleries, theaters, community spaces, mixed-use or high-end finishes
• Evidence of winning new work or growing an existing account

𝗔 𝗽𝗹𝘂𝘀:

• Projects of $20M or more
• Existing contacts in the Indianapolis market
• A bachelor’s degree
• OSHA 30

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲:

• Base salary of $130,000 to $150,000, depending on experience
• Performance bonus
• Car allowance each month and a company phone
• Employee ownership through an ESOP, plus a 401(k) with company match
• Medical, dental and vision insurance
• Permanent, fully on-site in Indianapolis, with relocation considered
