DERMS Senior Project ManagerAs a DERMS Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with the end customer, vendors, and project personnel to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of DERMS solutions within the client's territory. This role requires expertise in managing complex projects, assembling and leading delivery teams, coordinating vendor and subcontractor engagements, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope, cost, schedule, and risk management, while demonstrating strong judgment, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.The DERMS Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in growing TRC's consulting practice in the Operational Technology and Real-Time Systems domain.ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery: Own the scope, cost, schedule, and risks for DERMS projects, managing multiple tracks, business and technical resources, consultants, and vendors to deliver solutions successfullyContract Development: Create and manage contractual Statements of Work (SOWs) with clients and suppliers, clearly defining assumptions and responsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize project margins and ensure efficient resource utilizationTeam Leadership: Lead the project team, assigning tasks, monitoring outputs, and addressing resource gaps or individual shortfallsClient Representation: Act as TRC's representative, ensuring alignment between client and TRC's interests for project successVendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring contractual, operational, and relationship aspects are aligned for project successTeam Environment: Foster a positive work environment and lead the team to achieve project objectives on time and within budgetWorkflow Management: Develop and manage workflow plans from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, production turnover, and client migrationSchedule and Budget Tracking: Plan, prepare, and monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure controlled completion of project stepsRisk Management: Prepare and maintain risk assessments and mitigation action plansResource Forecasting: Maintain resource forecasts to ensure schedule compliance and desired resultsStakeholder Communication: Update internal and external stakeholders on project progress, changes, and risksExecutive Reporting: Lead core team meetings and present project progress at Steering Committee meetings with senior executives from TRC and the clientQualificationsMinimum of 10 years of project management experience in the utility domainPrevious experience implementing large SCADA, EMS, ADMS, or DERMS programs, preferably on the technology vendor sideProven experience leading large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide Operational Technology projects in electric or gas utility environmentsComprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and best practicesStrong organizational, decision-making, and presentation skillsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to address C-level executives and technical teamsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExceptional team-building and motivational skillsStrong budgeting and financial management skillsProficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed to client locationsPreferred Skills and Experience:PMP CertificationFamiliarity with major EMS, SCADA, ADMS, OMS systems, including OSII, GE, ABB, Schneider, and SiemensBenefitsTRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year).All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.*These benefits are applicable to US employees depending on their employment status (full time, part time, or temporary). Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.Salary RangeUSD $155,001.60 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.TRC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
