We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Senior Project Manager to support the successful planning and execution of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Management team in coordinating design and construction efforts across multiple stakeholders.
- Assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications.
- Help maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items to ensure clear communication across teams.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs.
- Prepare regular status reports and support the team in presentations and client meetings.
- Help identify potential project risks and elevate issues to the Project Manager as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience in the construction and/or engineering space.
- 2-5 years of experience in construction or engineering project support roles, with exposure to data centers or large mechanical/electrical systems preferred.
- Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
- Familiarity with reading construction drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- MUST be based in or willing to relocate to the Abilene/Midland/Lubbock triangle in West Texas
