Senior Project Manager, Power Delivery EPC | Corpus Christi, TX (On-Site)
I'm a third-party recruiter running a direct-hire search for a client, a power delivery and energy infrastructure services firm. If you've run design-build or EPC work on transmission, distribution, or substation projects and want to own a project from kickoff to close-out, this is a senior seat with real authority.
What you'll do
- Run integrated design-build and EPC teams from project start through completion
- Own the prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders, including changes, invoicing, and progress payments
- Lead the project team, including Project Managers and Assistant PMs, and work alongside construction managers and site safety
- Be the main point of contact for the customer and keep the project on track for scope, schedule, and budget
- Oversee engineering, procurement, scheduling, and field construction, including value engineering and constructability reviews
- Keep safety, quality, and environmental standards front and center, and head off disputes before they grow
- Deliver monthly progress, budget forecast, and schedule reports, then run close-out and warranty
- Mentor junior staff
What you bring
- 10+ years in construction project management
- Hands-on DB/EPC experience in power delivery (transmission, distribution, substation)
- Strong grasp of contracting, budgets, scheduling, and field supervision
- Experience leading and developing project teams
- Primavera P6 preferred
- Bachelor's in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as projects require
