Senior Project ManagerThe Sr. Project Manager is responsible for overseeing Holtec's domestic Dry Cask Storage loading program at both Holtec-owned and client-operated sites, managing implementation of site modifications, and coordinating the use of Holtec's leased ancillary equipment and spare parts management. The position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects from contract award through field implementation. This position is primarily office based, working in close partnership with a Holtec Site Project Manager once on-site activities begin.
The role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of project management principles and industry standards.Location: Camden, NJ (On-site)Primary Responsibilities:Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using modern scheduling toolsManaging budgets and forecasts, negotiating contracts and subcontracts, and ensuring effective project controls are in placeOverseeing submittal and change order tracking, monitor project performance against established goals, and work closely with internal departments such as engineering, procurement, operations, and business development to maintain schedule and quality objectivesProactive problem-solving, risk management, and thorough documentation of scope changes and approvals are essential to success in this positionRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related technical disciplineMinimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in the nuclear, power generation, or heavy industrial sectorsStrong proficiency with project scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project) and other modern project control softwareProven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing prioritiesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skillsExperience in nuclear power operations, spent fuel management, or dry cask storage loading campaignsWorking knowledge of ALARA principles, radiation protection, and nuclear site work controlsStrong understanding of scope management, risk analysis, and schedule integration across multi-site projectsPMP certification preferred; additional credentials such as PE, CCM, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are advantageousA Generation Ahead by Design™ Investing in people who power the future.
