Senior Project ManagerIrwindale, California, United StatesJob OverviewWe are a well-established, privately held national subcontractor specializing in high-end millwork, finish carpentry, and architectural woodwork. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to take full ownership of our largest, most visible, and most profitable projects from award through close-out.This is a high-impact, high-accountability role with direct influence on company profit and your personal earnings.Key ResponsibilitiesFull P&L ownership of assigned projects; consistently deliver or exceed targeted gross marginsBuild and maintain master project schedules; proactively manage risk and drive recovery plansLead subcontractor and vendor buyout; negotiate best pricing, terms, and scope coverageChair internal project kick-offs and recurring progress meetings with field leadershipRegular job-site presence to ensure schedule, quality, safety, and craftsmanship standardsEnforce corporate safety program and maintain full OSHA complianceReview, code, and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices timelyProduce and submit accurate, professional client billing packages ahead of monthly deadlinesPrimary client point of contact; run effective OAC meetings and issue clear minutesResolve field/contractual issues quickly while protecting margins and relationshipsMentor junior Project Managers and Project EngineersParticipate in weekly regional project-review meetings with leadershipIdentify and implement process improvements that reduce cost or increase speed/marginTravel regularly within assigned region and periodically nationwideQualifications & Experience8+ years of construction project management experience in high-end millwork, architectural finishes, and finish carpentry subcontractingProven track record running multiple $3M–$15M+ projects concurrently to successful completionDeep knowledge of millwork shop drawings, installation sequencing, and finish schedulesAdvanced proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Procore, etc.) and ExcelStrong negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliersExceptional client-facing communication and relationship-building abilitiesCurrent OSHA 30-Hour certificationAbility to travel frequentlyLive the company’s core values: Integrity, Dependability, Agility, Passion, and Craftsmanship
