Are you a seasoned project manager with expertise in capital projects and the FEL process? Join our team to lead large-scale, complex projects in a heavy manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
* Project Leadership - Manage capital projects from initiation through commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
* FEL Process Expertise - Oversee all stages of Front-End Loading (FEL-1, FEL-2, FEL-3) to drive strategic planning and risk management.
* Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with engineering, procurement, operations, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
* Risk & Compliance Management - Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring adherence to safety standards.
* Budget & Schedule Control - Maintain control over budgets, timelines, and performance metrics, reporting progress to senior leadership.
* Vendor & Contract Oversight - Manage external contractors and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
* Continuous Improvement - Implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in capital project management.
* 4+ years in construction project management.
* PMP , CAPM , or equivalent certification preferred.
* Strong knowledge of the FEL process (FEL-1, FEL-2, FEL-3) and project life cycle.
* Proven track record of managing $5M+ budgets in capital projects.
* Expertise in engineering, manufacturing, and heavy industry processes.
* Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).
* Strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
* Willingness to visit construction sites & manufacturing plants as needed.
* Ability to travel to project sites when required.
