With over 100 years of innovation in sustainable infrastructure and our expertise in engineering, procurement, consulting and construction, together we are building a world of difference.The Opportunity As the Sr. Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater, you will manage execution of the engineering component of multiple traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery projects including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon neutral solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on high profile municipal projects.Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities.Manage budgets, scheduling, and correspondence with clients and project management in support of a project.The Team Black & Veatch's Governments & Community business works to provide innovative solutions and integrated planning, design, and construction support for mission-critical facilities, as well as threat reduction and environmental services worldwide. The Project Engineering Management team is a top-ranked team by ENR for Water Design Firms in Water Supply, Sewer Waste, and other water-related rankings.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution: Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projectsConduct research to develop equipment and material recommendationsOversees collection of data and management of engineering workDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplinesLead larger production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for complex projectsClient Interface: Identify key client interests and drivers for highly complex projectsCommunicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutionsProvide support for business development or pursuit activitiesManage project changes directly with the client with Project ManagementTechnical expertise: Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverablesServes as technical leader for complex water and wastewater treatment projectsDrive solutions to achieve project goalsManagement Responsibilities: Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignmentsHiring, mentoring, performance management and pay administration of assigned personnelPreferred Qualifications PE license. Previous engineering consulting experience.

Experience executing complex multi-discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansion projects.Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
