Senior Project Engineer – Albany 576 (Malta, NY)
This role will provide project management support for commercial projects across specialty walls and ceilings, and clean rooms. The position is based in Albany, with a willingness to travel or relocate as needed for specific project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
- Prepare RFIs and submittals
- Conduct quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
- Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
- Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
- Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program
Basic Requirements
- A minimum of 4‑7 years’ experience in construction management
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline, or comparable work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
- Customer service skills, such as working with customers and building strong relationships
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Motivated self‑starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with commercial interior construction and/or clean‑room scopes
- OSHA certification
- Willingness to travel/relocate based on project needs

Salary
Salary range: $95,000–115,000 annual salary plus a non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.
