Senior Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to internal customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with external customers, Project Engineers and/or Assistant Project Managers.
- Schedule and participate in project meetings (start-up, weekly, close-out).
- Take notes and capture action items during meetings.
- Prepare, maintain, and process RFI\'s, Submittals and close-out documents.
- Manage Project Logs (Change Requests, Submittals, RFIs) and send weekly updates to customers.
- Assist Project Managers and Project Executives in project duties.
- Process material, rental equipment and tool orders.
- Perform material takeoffs for Change Order requests.
- Coordinate delivery of site mobilization documentation.
- Maintain project scheduling functions, WBS and SIS, 10‑5‑2‑1.
- Collaborate with CI for material kit deliveries and backorders.
- Maintain construction documents in Plan Grid and distribute to stakeholders.
- Carry out all duties outlined in the Roles and Responsibilities Matrix.
- Train, mentor and develop lower‑level Project Engineers.
- Manage smaller‑scale projects ($500K or less) with supervision.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Physical Requirements
- Verbal communication and hearing ability.
- Sit at a desk workstation for long periods.
- Push, pull, lift, and carry at least 10 pounds.
- Walk and stand frequently; occasional site visits may require uneven surface walking, stairs, and PPE.
- Visual acuity for reading documents, computer work, and proofreading.
- Use fingers and hands for typing, handling and reaching tasks.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
