Our client is an established engineering consulting firm specializing in water, wastewater, stormwater, and water reuse projects. They work with municipalities, utilities, and public-sector clients to deliver critical infrastructure projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
- Perform civil site design, including grading, drainage, stormwater systems, roadways, paving, and utility infrastructure.
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and data collection activities.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and subconsultants.
- Support permitting efforts and work with regulatory agencies as required.
- Provide engineering support during construction, including review of submittals and RFIs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 5-12 years of experience in water, wastewater, or related infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and utility infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience with project scheduling or project management software.
- Involvement in professional engineering organizations.
- Experience working on municipal water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
