Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer
Location: Mystic, Connecticut (Full‑time, On‑site)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead project planning, design, and permitting, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design and permitting of civil and site development projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to achieve project goals.
- Oversee drafting and ensure plans meet technical and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare design reports, calculations, and complete submittal packages.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (required)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD (required)
- 5–10 years of civil/site design experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently
