Job Description:
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Systems, or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Engineer, Engineering Project Manager, or similar technical coordination role. Aerospace domain experience is required.
- Proven ability to organize and manage technical data across multiple projects
- Strong experience aligning schedules and coordinating tasks across cross functional engineering teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross functional teams and influence without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar) and Microsoft Office
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in engineering project management, preferably in a regulated industry such as aerospace
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Schedule driven mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to balance technical depth with project execution
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution oriented
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or FDA regulations
- An understanding of engineering outsourcing business practices
- Experience writing or creating standard work, establishing processes, and documenting lessons learned
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to traverse and navigate a manufacturing facility
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
