Our client is on the lookout for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team and lead some very exciting corporate engineering projects ranging from $10-$100mm.

Job Description
Responsible for the planning, procurement, execution and completion of mid-to-large projects. Supervises project field installation and startups to ensure established safety rules and procedures are followed, projects are completed on time and within approved project cost.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements, and communicates an operational plan for completing projects including project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Documents plan, assembles appropriation request, and obtains organizational project approvals
- Prepares engineering designs and work specifications
- Reviews and approves drawings including flow sheets, isometrics, P&IDs, layout drawings, and vendor submittals
- Develops RFP packages with appropriate selection criteria and metrics
- Ensures safe implementation of project construction by enforcing the established safety rules and procedures
- Oversees contractor activities to ensure they comply with established company standards
- Monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
- Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, regulatory compliance, and incorporates Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) into designs
- Collaborates with other engineers and technical personnel and coordinates their specialized contributions to the development of the project
Educational/Experience Requirements
- 10+ years of project engineering/manufacturing experience
- BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)
- Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred
- PSM experience preferred
- PMP preferred
