Senior Project Engineer

• Lead the planning and execution of capital and operational projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, estimates, and financial performance.
• Identify project risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost impacts.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality, safety, and compliance with engineering specifications.
• Manage technical documentation, including drawings, contracts, change orders, schedules, and progress reports.
• Provide technical leadership for equipment selection, process verification, testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable safety, regulatory, quality, and engineering standards.
• Use project management and engineering software to plan, track, document, and report project progress.
• Support capital improvements, capacity expansion, equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, or a related field required.
• Minimum of five years of project management experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Proven experience managing large-scale capital projects, including projects with large budgets.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and financial management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or similar project and engineering tools.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with project risk management, contractor coordination, commissioning, and change management.
• PMP certification, Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Lean/Six Sigma experience, or an advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% domestically and internationally as required.
