Responsibilities
- Develop electronic circuit board layouts for mixed signal, microcontroller-based controllers, and power converters.
- Participate in electronics hardware design peer reviews.
- Analyze and resolve vendor component change and obsolescence notifications.
- Maintain production drawings and data for electronic circuit board assemblies.
- Work in a cross‑functional team environment to analyze and mitigate electronics circuit board assembly production issues.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 4+ years of experience designing circuit boards for industrial controllers that meet FCC, UL, CSA and CE requirements.
- Excellent abstract reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience laying out high‑speed memory buses in controlled‑impedance layout designs.
- Working knowledge of current technologies used in circuit board design and manufacturing processes.
- Working knowledge of the IPC‑A‑610 standard.
- Experience in Design for Environment and Design for Manufacturing processes.
