Senior Project Engineer – Municipal

What You’ll Do
- Take on a leadership role in delivering complex projects while mentoring junior staff and ensuring technical quality.
- Lead and coordinate project design efforts.
- Apply engineering principles and judgment.
- Review and validate calculations, plans and reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Proactively address project challenges.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets and quality standards.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth.
- Represent the firm in client meetings and presentations.
What It Takes
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
- Team player capable of operating independently when needed.
