Senior Electrical Engineers with an active PE license and healthcare project experience

We are also open to:

Electrical Engineers with an active PE license, 7+ years of experience, strong project management experience and healthcare project experience

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to take on greater technical leadership, project ownership and client responsibility.

Depending on experience, the successful candidate will provide technical leadership and/or project management across complex electrical engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from schematic design through construction documents
• Manage electrical engineering projects and deliverables
• Provide technical direction and QA/QC
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Work directly with clients, architects and consultants
• Develop electrical system designs, specifications and equipment selections
• Conduct feasibility studies, system evaluations and cost estimates
• Manage project schedules, budgets and staffing
• Review applicable codes and design standards
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
• Support proposals and business development activities

The strongest candidates will have direct experience designing electrical systems for healthcare facilities and healthcare-related projects.

Desired Qualifications

• 10+ years of A/E industry experience
• Strong healthcare electrical engineering background
• Project management experience
• QA/QC and technical leadership
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

LEED or other professional certifications are a plus.

Experience with

• Electrical design & calculation software
• Applicable electrical codes and standards
• Electrical system design and documentation
