This role is ideal for a technically strong, client-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.What You'll Do:As a Senior Project Developer, you will play a key role in shaping long-range capital improvement plans and developing technical solutions for K-12 and public sector clients. You will act as the technical lead with the client during planning and development, ensuring that each project is positioned for successful execution.Your responsibilities will include:Lead facility condition assessments and analyze building systems to identify deficiencies while actively engaging stakeholders to gather valuable inputDevelop and evaluate technical solutions to remediate deficiencies, ensuring alignment with client requirementsPrepare budget estimates, prioritize needs, and build long-range capital improvement plans in collaboration with the project teamDevelop clear, comprehensive preliminary and final reports for client reviewClient Partnership & Collaboration:Serve as the project team lead during the planning and development phasesParticipate in client meetings, presentations, and relationship-building activitiesProvide high-quality communication and responsive support throughout the project lifecycleTechnical Oversight & Support:Guide survey teams of engineers, architects, and facility expertsDevelop implementation strategies for the plan utilizing multiple delivery methodsLead the turnover process from development to construction teamsSupport the creation of drawings, specifications, and construction phasing plansReview cost estimates at key design milestonesAssist with RFPs, Invitations to Bid, and public bidding processesCross-Team & Business Support:Contribute to business development efforts and client engagement initiativesParticipate in professional organizations and trade eventsMaintain organized workflows, strong documentation, and high-quality deliverablesWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, or facility operationsBroad knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, site, etc.)Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer (PE) preferredExceptional written, verbal, and client communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to travel to project sites; valid driver's license requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with BlueBeam and Excel-based analysis a plusCommitment to quality work, collaboration, and professional growthWhy Join Us:At ICS & CMTA, you'll be part of a forward-thinking team that values integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
