Salary: $63,000 - 103,000 per year Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in solar project development
- Personally developed Illinois community solar projects through notice to proceed
- Strong knowledge of Illinois county permitting and interconnection
- Confidence leading discussions with landowners, county boards, and local officials
- Illinois-based
- Minnesota community solar or energy storage experience is a plus
- Lead Illinois community solar projects from site selection through notice to proceed
- Identify and secure sites and negotiate with landowners
- Manage county permitting, including special use permits and public hearings
- Oversee interconnection with ComEd and Ameren through the study process
- Prepare projects for Illinois Shines and manage program requirements
- Coordinate engineering, environmental, and legal consultants
- Represent projects at zoning board proceedings and community meetings
