Senior Project Controls Analyst – Power & Utilities

We are currently seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support our growing Power team in California . In this role, you will contribute directly to complex infrastructure initiatives, working alongside experienced project professionals to drive cost, schedule, and performance excellence.

Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6
- Performing cost analysis, forecasting, and budget tracking
- Supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) and variance analysis
- Preparing weekly and monthly project performance reports, including KPIs, progress curves, and cost/schedule trends
- Collaborating with Project Managers and stakeholders to align plans, actuals, and forecasts
- Managing change control processes and evaluating impacts to cost and schedule
- Supporting project risk reviews and contingency planning
- Ensuring compliance with client and PTAG project controls standards and procedures
Qualifications / Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
- 10+ years of project controls experience on capital projects, with experience in Transmission & Distribution and Substation projects
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with cost management systems such as EcoSys or Prism is an asset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of EVM and project performance metrics
- PMP, AACEI (CCP, PSP), or similar certification is considered an asset
