- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience: 3+ years construction project accounting / project finance
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition and WIP accounting; IFRS 15 familiarity preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, pivots, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar ERP)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to challenge assumptions and make data‑driven recommendations.
- Clear, confident communicator who can partner with Operations while maintaining independent reporting through Finance; comfortable challenging a PM's numbers respectfully and holding teams accountable without losing the relationship. Organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple active projects simultaneously with a clear audit trail.
