Support the financial management of construction projects through cost tracking, forecasting, WIP reporting, and billing.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain project cost reports and track budgets, commitments, and expenses.
- Prepare work-in-progress (WIP) reports and support revenue recognition.
- Handle cost-plus billing, including Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee and Time and Materials.
- Work with project managers on forecasts, cost projections, and budget variances.
- Review subcontractor and vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Track change orders and ensure billing aligns with contract terms.
- Research and resolve project accounting discrepancies.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 5 years of relevant project or cost accounting experience.
- Construction industry experience, preferably commercial construction.
- Hands-on experience with WIP reporting and cost-plus billing.
- Experience billing Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee and Time and Materials contracts.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting or project management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
