Senior Programmer AnalystOur client is seeking a Programmer Analyst to support Statewide Circuit Court and District Court Applications (Judicial Information Systems - JIS) in multiple areas. This position is 100% remote, on-site support will be required, you must be able to report on-site within four (4) hours after notification to Annapolis, MD office.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesProvide support for Security Policy by coordinating with the Data Security Department.Plan, Design, Develop, Test, and Implement new system features with approval from the Architecture Control Board.Plan, Design, Develop, Test, and Implement features required for Law Changes.Implement Middle Tier objects.User interface design and Report generation.Documentation of system features.Provide multi-user support and respond to Help Desk incident tickets.Develop and document backup and recovery strategies and coordinate with the Disaster Recovery Coordinator. Participating in bi-annual Disaster Recovery exercises.Ensuring systems are backed up regularly and to an off-site storage location.Support existing applications including software upgrade and distribution and server maintenance.Support new requirements as requested once approved by the Architecture Control Board.Provide support on replacing existing servers with new hardware and operating system, and newer versions of the Oracle Database.Maintenance upgrades for Courtroom Central Database servers.Maintenance upgrades for Commissioners Assistant Application and the Clerks Assistant Application.Integrating internal applications using the existing J2EE BUS framework as well as the more modern technologies to which JIS is migrating.Software version control and Case Management (CM) support tasks.Application distribution and updates support tasks including customizing the updater for new applications, adding new features once approved by change control board and checking compatibility with new Operating Systems.Preparing regular and ad hoc reports including weekly project reports of progress and status and weekly time report.Minimum QualificationsB.S.

in Computer Science or related field.Ten (10) years of programming experience with Embarcadero RAD Studio, Borland C++ Builder, Borland VCL, Quick Reports, TCP/IP Sockets, FTP and SMTP on Windows platform.Windows programming experience with desktop databases and Embarcadero RAD Studio C++.Java programming and UNIX experience.Ten (10) years of cross-platform application integration programming experience involving Windows, AIX and Mainframe systems using Sockets, LU6.2 or similar protocols.Six (6) years of experience administering Linux with Oracle, CVS, mysql, Apache.Three (3) years of Java programming experience and Oracle Application Server.Three (3) years of web development with Microsoft.NET framework.Court case management experience.It is the policy of Merit321 to provide equal opportunity in recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting individuals in all job categories without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected class or category as may be defined by federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
