Our team is responsible for providing onsite quality engineering support at LMMFC‑Orlando and customer sites, ensuring delivery of high‑quality products, and driving IRST development for domestic and international customers.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
nBasic Qualifications:
nBachelor's Degree in a STEM related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
nMust be able to acquire and maintain a United
nStates security clearance.
nStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
nAbility to present and articulate technical issues (both verbal and written).
nAbility to facilitate and lead root cause and corrective action investigations to address and resolve quality related issues.
nAbility to interpret Drawings, Specifications, and Standards.
nExperience in using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools.
nUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
nDesired Skills:
nMaster's Degree in a STEM discipline is preferred.
nProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
nMinimum 5 years technical experience in quality assurance, manufacturing/production, engineering development, and/or defense/aerospace industry. or 3 years experience with a related masters degree.
nExpertise in quality assurance methodologies, tools, techniques, and principles in support of root cause analysis, hardware build, inspection, and/or test.
nExpertise in quality engineering tools and software such as Apriso, SAP, P2P, Windchill, Confluence, Teams, JIRA, AMS.
nLSS or LM Green or Black Belt Certification.
nASQ Certification(s)
nGD&T experience
nInterpretation and application experience in AS9102, AS9100, and/or ISO9001.
nInterpretation and application experience in J-STD-001, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610.
nSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
