Senior Program Manager - Legal AI Transformation

📍 Remote (U.S.) | Occasional travel to New York, NY

💲 $110-$140/hour | Contract

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale Legal AI and legal transformation program within a global, highly regulated organization. This role will oversee multiple workstreams and project managers while partnering with Legal, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and business leaders to drive successful adoption of AI, legal technology, and operational change initiatives.

Responsibilities

✅ Lead enterprise Legal AI and transformation programs from strategy through implementation

✅ Manage multiple projects, workstreams, timelines, dependencies, and project managers

✅ Partner with executive stakeholders, including Legal leadership and C-suite sponsors

✅ Drive change management, communications, training, readiness, and adoption efforts

✅ Oversee governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and controls

✅ Define success metrics, benefits realization plans, and adoption KPIs

✅ Coordinate global stakeholders across Legal, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams

✅ Ensure successful transition of programs into business-as-usual operations

Qualifications

✔ 10+ years of program management, transformation, or change leadership experience

✔ Experience leading large, complex enterprise programs across multiple functions and geographies

✔ Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills

✔ Experience within legal, financial services, consulting, or other highly regulated environments

✔ Experience managing legal transformation, legal operations, legal technology, AI, or regulatory change initiatives

✔ Strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance, and organizational change management

✔ Proven ability to lead multiple project teams and influence senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

✔ Legal Operations or Legal Transformation experience

✔ Experience implementing Legal AI, CLM, matter management, e-billing, or workflow platforms

✔ Prosci, PMP, Agile, or Change Management certifications

✔ Financial services, banking, or other regulated industry experience
