Position Summary

Career Track: Pathway to Director of Program

We're seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Program Manager to serve as the CEO's right hand in developing and launching this high-impact housing initiative. This role offers the unique opportunity to sit in state-level meetings, translate vision into action, coordinate across departments, and build the operational infrastructure for a program designed to scale nationally.

The initiative includes development of a technology platform and marketplace to match Property Management Companies (PMCs) with mission-aligned nonprofits, facilitating transparent accountability based on renter success metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in all planning and partnership meetings with the CEO and state officials
  • Develop compelling briefing materials, presentations, and strategic follow-ups for external partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across nonprofits, government agencies, and property management companies
  • Serve as a key liaison between OneApp and external stakeholders

Program Design & Operations

  • Translate high-level vision into clear, actionable project plans and standard operating procedures
  • Lead development of core program infrastructure including eligibility guidelines, scoring rubrics, and reporting frameworks
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Partner Success teams to align on program requirements
  • Design and implement operational workflows that ensure program scalability and effectiveness

Platform & Marketplace Development

  • Define scope and prioritize technology features for the PMC (Property Management Company)-Nonprofit marketplace platform
  • Partner with Product and R&D teams to design innovative tools for nonprofit matching and collaboration
  • Champion development of a transparent scoring system that measures nonprofit impact based on real renter outcomes
  • Ensure platform capabilities align with stakeholder needs and program objectives

Cross-Functional Program Coordination

  • Serve as the connective tissue across all departments, including:

Product: Platform requirements and feature development

Risk: Default prevention strategies and success metrics

Partner Success: PMC and nonprofit onboarding and support

RevOps: Reporting systems, tracking mechanisms, and accountability frameworks

  • Monitor program KPIs and prepare regular updates for executive team and external funders
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across all program stakeholders
  • Hire and onboard supporting team members as the program scales
  • Develop team processes and culture that support the program's mission
  • Prepare for transition to Director-level role overseeing the full initiative within 12-18 months

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in program management, nonprofit strategy, or public-private partnerships
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with clarity, urgency, and measurable outcomes
  • Track record of collaboration across government, technology, and nonprofit sectors
  • Comfort and effectiveness in high-visibility settings, including direct engagement with executive leaders
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • High executive presence and political savvy, with the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate public-private dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with housing access programs, nonprofit accountability models, or outcome-based funding mechanisms
  • Background in marketplace/platform strategy or software development processes
  • Experience with project management and CRM tools (Asana, HubSpot, analytics platforms)
  • Understanding of risk management principles in financial services or housing sectors
