Job Summary
Tarkik Solutions is seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Technical Lead / Solutions Architect to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP). We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex, high-profile programs within the federal sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale initiatives in DoD or DHS/CBP environments, with proven expertise in agile methodologies and team leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple interconnected projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of critical programs while maintaining compliance with federal requirements. This role requires a seasoned professional who can navigate complex government contracting environments while leading diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Project Management, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- 10+ years of experience leading large teams in complex environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Proven track record managing large-scale federal government programs or contracts
- Experience with government contracting processes and compliance requirements
- Strong expertise in agile and scaled agile methodologies
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills across multiple disciplines
- Advanced stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Experience managing budgets and complex resource allocation
- Knowledge of risk management, quality assurance, and governance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
- Experience with federal procurement processes and regulations
Clearance Requirements
- US Citizenship Required - Because of DHS Public Trust requirements, the customer will ONLY accept US Citizens (no Green Cards or professional visas)
- Ability to obtain and hold a DHS Public Trust position and favorable suitability through a component background investigation
Work Location
- This is a hybrid position in Ashburn, VA. One day per week on site.
