The Senior Production Manager is responsible for leading production operations across Redbubble, TeePublic, and Dashery, with a focus on building high-performing production partner relationships and delivering consistent quality across the supply chain.
This role leads a team of Production Managers and oversees key partner initiatives, operational performance, quality improvement, and cross-functional projects. The Senior Category Manager works closely with Product Development, Logistics, Analytics, Engineering, and Business Operations to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and improve customer and partner outcomes.
Success in this role requires strong relationship management, negotiation, analytical thinking, people leadership, and cross-functional project management skills.
Core Responsibilities
Production Partner Management
- Lead and develop a team of Production Managers responsible for supporting day-to-day production operations across the supply chain.
- Manage strategic relationships with production partners, serving as a key point of contact for operational performance, initiatives, escalations, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the onboarding, ongoing management, and offboarding of production partners to ensure operational and quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Monitor and analyze production partner performance and quality metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that strengthen production standards, reduce defects, and improve the customer experience.
- Negotiate and collaborate with external partners to support business objectives, operational requirements, and mutually beneficial outcomes.
Internal Project Coordination
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional supply chain projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, communication, and measurable outcomes.
- Develop and improve operational processes, including product quality feedback loops and initiatives designed to reduce refunds and production-related customer issues.
- Partner with engineering and technical teams to identify, prioritize, and implement technology improvements that support production operations.
- Analyze supply chain and business performance data to support decision-making, identify operational opportunities, and inform recommendations for new products and initiatives.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
- Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Logistics, Commercial, and Business Operations teams to align supply chain priorities with broader company objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis on production capabilities, decoration techniques, equipment, vendors, and emerging operational opportunities as needed.
- Support evolving business priorities and additional strategic supply chain initiatives as required.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in supply chain management, production operations, vendor management, procurement, or a related field; experience within print-on-demand, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses is a plus.
- 3–5 years of people management experience, with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate business and operational performance, interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
- Demonstrated project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with experience managing external vendors, suppliers, or production partners.
- Working knowledge of technical systems and the ability to effectively partner with engineering or technical teams; deep technical expertise is not required.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% as business needs require.

We offer competitive compensation to attract and retain exceptional talent and to reward employees for their contributions to our mission. In pursuit of pay equity and fairness, the expected starting annual base salary for this position is $140,000–$160,000 USD .
