Live Event Production Sr. ManagerThe Live Event Production Sr. Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of live events, experiential activations, festivals, and brand experiences.
This role manages production timelines, vendor coordination, onsite execution, staffing, budgets, onsite staff, and client communication to ensure events are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all phases of live event production from pre-production through onsite execution and strikeManage production schedules, logistics, labor, and vendor coordinationLead onsite crews including production assistants, stagehands, freelancers, and technical teamsCoordinate fabrication, scenic, AV, lighting, power, rigging, and installation requirementsEnsure compliance with venue regulations, safety standards, and permitting requirementsPartner with internal teams, clients, agencies, and festival stakeholders throughout planning and executionTrack budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and production expensesConduct site visits, production meetings, and run-of-show reviewsTroubleshoot onsite challenges and provide quick solutions in high-pressure environmentsMaintain detailed production documentation including schedules, staffing plans, and vendor contactsSupport load-in/load-out operations and inventory managementEnsure high-quality execution while maintaining strong client relationshipsYou Have These:4-7+ years of experience in live event production, experiential marketing, festivals, or entertainment productionStrong understanding of event logistics, staging, AV, scenic fabrication, and production operationsExperience managing crews, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to work flexible hours including nights, and weekendsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management softwareAbility to thrive in fast-paced environments and solve problems quickly onsiteUp to 60% travel can be requiredPreferred ExperiencesFestival and large-scale event production experienceBrand activation and experiential marketing backgroundKnowledge of union labor coordination and venue operationsEvent safety trainingExperience with budgeting and client-facing presentationsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods during event operationsAbility to lift and move production materials when necessaryComfortable working outdoors and in varying event environmentsKey skillsEvent OperationsProduction ManagementVendor CoordinationBudget TrackingTeam LeadershipClient RelationsLogistics PlanningProblem SolvingTime ManagementOnsite Event ExecutionHow we work:WME Group is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business.
