We work closely with partners across the factory to supervise product performance, drive process stability, and ensure the reliability needed for world-class semiconductor production. We thrive in a fast-moving environment where data, collaboration, and problem-solving make a daily impact!As a Product Quality Engineer, you will protect the stability of our processes and the quality of our products.

You'll investigate yield and reliability issues, define standard procedures, apply statistical tools, and support audits that strengthen our quality systems. Your work will directly influence product performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term manufacturing success.Responsibilities:Partner with multi-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvementMonitor and report quality metrics including DPM, yield variation, and reliability performanceTroubleshoot wafer-fab problems, perform root-cause analysis, and manage defect and excursion investigationsEvaluate products to confirm performance against design requirements and recommend process or equipment adjustmentsDefine and standardize SOPs and apply statistical tools to monitor process deviationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Physics, or related engineering field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor quality, manufacturing, or process engineeringFamiliarity with semiconductor process flows and failure analysis methodsExperience with statistical tools such as SPC, DOE, regression analysis, or deviation-management systemsStrong ability to analyze data, communicate findings, and coordinate across teamsPreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Physics, or related engineering fieldInternship or project experience in semiconductor or electronics industriesExperience with yield analysis tools, reliability assessments, or WLR methodologiesKnowledge of ISO standards or audit proceduresASQ CQE or similar quality certificationMicron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
